he was still getting used to his rinnegan during the fight with kaguya. he used the battle with madara and kaguya to get used to it hence why he started pulling out techniques after that. so this means nothing

the only useless one is the one that needed his ass saved from IT by sasuke otherwise he would have been zetsu fodder, or needed saving from kaguyas ice. bashing can go both ways
