I mean it just dont add up.

Everyone knows Konoha isnt all the handy daisies they make themselves out to be.

No one question why the uchiha were rebellion? ppl dont just rebel without a cause.

Konaha has always been behind some foul ish. Heck Danzou was behind foul ish and orochimaru. Hiruzen alway's turned a blind eye to it.

Of course the citizens wouldnt support uchiha, they don't know what goes on behind close door's.

It's facts Danzou nor the village elders trusted the uchiha.

Danzou wanted to seclude and control them. To him they were weapons at his disposal.

Hence him recruiting Itachi into anbu and when shisui wouldnt do as he pleased he took his eye for his own purposes.

Konoha always been potrayed as the holy village when really they created people like Pain ( a war they started)

Orochimaru (left him to be instead of pursuing until Jiraiya stepped in)

I think Uchiha's were just the 1st to realize Konaha was corrupt.

Sad that Itachi rather had stayed antagonized than to expose konoha for their fraud.

It was as wrong as Danzo's preemptive strike

What I can't picture is why would Itachi trust Danzo more than his Father's plan of a Coup de etat. The Uchiha were pushed around to the small edge of the village for something that wasn't their fault. Honestly if Itachi didn't feel threatened by the Leaf he could have exposed the Leaf and Danzo.

When one clan is treated unfairly almost all of the time a riot is necessary.

It was wrong because it wouldve triggered a war. I cant blame the Uchiha for looking out for their own interests.

It wasn't wrong, when you're discriminated by the people supposed to protect you then you can't just keep quiet and do nothing about it otherwise you end up having your people exterminated by a paranoid psychopath.

Danzo deserved to die and is responsible for the villains created. He made Pain the villain and forced Sasuke to rebel against the village. I think at the very least Hiruzen should've fired him and replaced him with an Uchiha as the head of ANBU.

Yes and No...

Research showed that Uchihas were unstable in nature, so they were given a distinct status in Konoha, a respectable one. But their history with other clans wasn't so bright that it was natural that people came to accept them as different people and the treatment they got from people because of Konoha Police Force.
Might be that Uchiha elders could have done some work to erase that impression from common masses but Madara's leave left them totally at other's mercy, they withdrew in subjugation which obviously after some time sparked flame of vengeance.
Isolation and negative reputation(from KPF) helped the bad cause and therefore the Coup d'etat...

Danzo is the one to blame. Hiruzen as well for being too weak and letting Danzo walk all over him.
