Was The Chakra On Tsunade's Feet An Actual Counter to Shinra Tensei?

As the title says, what is an actual counter that would make deva's path useless or was it a sad attempt that wouldn't have worked altho deva path stated it was meant to be a counter for his technique?? If so, why didn't Tsunade tell Naruto to use it...anyway it doesn't seem it could be that easy to counter deva path's power.

I wouldn't say useless. The more chakra he puts into shinra tensei the stronger the push obviously. I don't think it's really a counter. Narutos shadow clones seems to be more effective than that.

i guess so, according to narutopedia, it's considered a counter...but then again anyone can use chakra on their feet...any ninja pretty much

that's what i figured, i would have liked to see deva try them to see how well that counter would work

first point i wanna make is tsundaes chakra control and power are unrivaled if anyone could so easily counter a weakened ST it would be her

and when all pains are deployed yahiko has shown his power at that level needs at least 5 seconds to regenerate and thats a reflection of the power he used n i think when he only uses yahiko he needs 5 minutes with that being said we can assume he becomes 60 times stronger at most. tsunade was able to use her chakra to protect the whole village imagine just herself i think she could do it

It will stop you from moving/blown away but the damage is done. You'll still get hurt

Whether it really would have worked or not is probably not that important. Nagato recognized that they were meaning to counter a particular jutsu, and they knew it was the jutsu of the Pain they were facing, so I think it fits the category as counter. Anyways, it served as a giveaway to Nagato that the village already has a certain amount of intelligence on him, so this is probably his last chance to get the ninetails.

If that could , then kakashi would have done he is an expert in analyzing a jutsu. You can tell by him not using it that it wouldn't work. Tsunade tried that in a fit of desperation.

It would have worked on the weaker St's if they had to fight theres no way kishi would embarrass her by making her get Hinata'd
