Was that really Karin's DNA?

Whose DNA is it?

Now, I'm no Sakura fan, and would gladly accept Karin as Salad's mother, but the DNA test seemed too good to be true.

What we know about the DNA sample:
> Suigetsu has never been allowed near the apparatus by Karin.
> He may know of the existence of Karin's DNA there anyway, because he was looking specifically for it "it must be here somewhere"
> He may also not be right in thinking it's Karin's DNA.

Karin has been known to be obsessed with Sasuke. It wouldn't surprise me if she took a sample at some point, thus the sample being there.

However, because she's obsessed with Sasuke, I don't see here leaving a valuable Sasuke DNA sample in a different hideout than the one she's at. Same can't be said about her own DNA. This shoots down the possibility of it being Sasuke's DNA.

Overall, going by probability, I'd say:
Sasuke as father: 100%
Karin as mother: 80%
Sakura as mother: 15%
Other as mother: 5%

One thing we can say for sure is that the sample must belong to Sarada's biological mother.
1. Whose DNA is Karin more likely to have lying around in her old lab? Karin's, Sakura's or someone elses?

In spite of the tiny possibility of otherwise, I'd go with Karin.

Sara is a clone of karin, raised by sasuke and then given to sakura.

There's really no biological mother here.

I think it's pretty obvious that it's Sasuke's DNA.

That's not a bad theory.

My theory is that the DNA that Sarada's was tested against, might actually have also been from Sarada. If you look at the two graphs you will notice that they are identical, this could only happen if both samples are from the same person.
