Was suishi overated?(idk how to spell his name)

i know how you guys feel about fillers, but i watch them to pass time. In the most recent filler Danzo was able to break suishis genjutsu and do a decent amount of damage and remove his eye. i know other anbu shinobi intervined but the way i seen suishi hyped i was a little dissapointed...(not saying danzo is weak by any means but i didnt think he could handle suishi).

just noticed that. if danzo didnt have it though, i believe it wouldve went differently. it indeed was a sneak attack so you have to take into consideration that suishi was caught offguard. 1v1 in a formal encounter do you think Danzo would have the same sucess in that situation?

with Izanagi, Danzo could probably get away / escape from just about anything, but KA could stop Izanagi maybe.

Everyone or almost everyone believed Danzo did not possess the Sharingan, including Shisui. He merely surprised him by activating Izanagi when Shisui defeated him. He wasn't expecting it.. who would, really? Even then, Shisui casted him under a genjutsu quite quickly and impressively, and Danzo still needed to call for at least ten other Anbu to come running to assist him. Ao literally ran in terror when he saw Shisui coming towards him alone, even though he had backup.
