Do you think that marrying an Uchiha would help?
Definitely. He'd have been able to connect with someone from his own clan. Then again he could've connected with anyone who had a loving and caring personality and someone who tried to understand Sasuke and help him to forget his past crimes and mistakes and move on ahead.

I agree with every word!

Lots of people say this girl should've faced the same kind deep pain as Sasuke. Which I agree to some extent because see what happened when he married Sakura.....He seems worse because no one tried to understand his position. His daughter isn't recieving the Uchiha legacy that his offspring should recieve if the clan was alive. Sad.

Exactly and he didn't find any real attachment with Sakura to hang on to.

This is an ass pull, like a huge one.. but it can also be a theory.

Sasuke had everything torn from him at the age of 8. He knew love very well. Hell, all Uchiha's feel love and bonds, strongly. So strong, that it became their curse, as stated in the manga. It would seem natural that after all the trauma Sasuke went through at a young age, made him shove away bonds and love like the plague, calling it a weakness. It took him forever in part 1 to even accept Naruto and Sakura as his comrades, let alone friends. It wasn't until the mist arc (mostly after) until they STARTED to become friends. The events leading up to the chunin exams and the exams themselves is where most of their real bonds formed. Throughout part 2, whenever he'd run into anyone from team 7, he'd try to harm/kill them. Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Yamato. No one was exempt. It was seen as them just being in the way of his goals.. but if you go back to him not wanting bonds in the first place, but naturally having the tendency to form strong ones when it happens, it becomes clear why he wanted to harm them to the point they'd either kill him, or just plain old kill them off so he wouldn't have to feel "weakness". Near the end of part 2, he cast the genjutsu on Sakura before leaving for his fight with Naruto. Everyone references this as him hating her. Sakura is the only one in team 7 he has cast a genjutsu strong enough to KO her with. He chose imagery that he thought would shatter her. Could it be that he was testing her faith to him? I mean really, she and Naruto were the only ones that never gave up on him. They got the harsher treatment by Sasuke.

In conclusion (for those that don't want to read).. he was never romantic. That doesn't mean he didn't care about Sakura romantically. His father never showed affection either. He was stern with him and Itachi, we never saw him being romantic with his wife.... SO I have to conclude he takes after his father in regards to showing affection of any kind. Actually come to think of it, the only Uchiha we have seen show romantic emotion/interest is Obito.
