Were people actually worried about Sasuke "destroying the Leaf"? I mean he was a top tier Character at the moment...but how is it even realistic in any sense of the word for Sasuke to take on Naruto, Kakashi, Tsunade, Yamato, Sakura, Konoha 9...etc at the same time? oh and most importantly...an infuriated 8th gate Gai Sensei?

Not only was Naruto able to stop him by himself if that were to happened...but if either Lee or Gai opened the 8th gate...Sasuke would have been dust in minutes.

Now imagine if both Gai/Lee opened the 8th gate at the same time? Game over in literally 5 seconds. That's while Naruto and company take a sip of martini in the background.

It felt pretty forced.

Kishi would probably have to send Gai/Lee/Neji on a mission again to make sense of things Lol

The hidden leaf village don't know about this jutsu. If they did, they would've hunt Sasuke down and try to kill him asap!

Sasuke is like Obito/Madara... he CAN plot and create a village-threatening power, but he'd need more than just his own MS power. Maybe he'd create some Zetsu, or obtain some Bijuu, or gather followers.. but Sasuke always had the potential to accomplish his goals. Granted, Naruto may have stopped him.

Well what about his EMS Amaterasu? I know that the fire can be sealed as seen in Part 1 Anime -> Jiraiya v Kisame and Itachi, but he could have burned a lot of area and killed a lot of people, probably.

Teuchi would destroy Team Taka with his Sage of the Six Bowls power... Creation of all Ramen would turn Suigetsu and Jugo into Ramen ingredients, while his Truth Seeking Ramen Bowls would convert Sasuke himself into Ramen...

OT: Sasuke wouldn't be alone, he'd have Suigetsu and Jugo, along with Obito, Black Zetsu (the Solo Prince who canonically neg diffed Madara and turned him into the first Bruce Jenner)

We don't know what his plan was but Sasuke wouldn't take on the whole village by himself. I don't know where you got that idea from.

Re: Was Sasuke "destruction of the leaf" plan ever a realistic possible event?

Sasuke believed he could destroy Konoha, so he most likely could of. There was two points where Sasuke was on his way to Konoha.

1) After Naruto defeated Pain - MS, and 2)After he had defeated Danzo - EMS.

Scenario 1
He was on his way with Taka, considering how they easily managed to sneak into the Lightning country, Cloud Village, Iron Country, and Kage Summit, they could probably due the same with the Land of Fire. and Konoha.

If Pain had never attacked Konoha, then Team Gai would still be on a mission, Naruto would still be training at Mount Toads, and would come back late to face Sasuke while the whole village is set ablaze with Amaterasu.

Sasuke>Kakashi - Susano'o Arrows are too fast for Kakashi to physically dodge, which forces him to counter with Kamui.

And one sudden, very quick usage of Kamui left Kakashi barely able to move.

Sasuke can use multiple arrows in seconds as shown against Danzo.

Sasuke>Konoha, even more so with Taka's help. The only worry he would have is being exhausted from over using the MS - Karin could heal him but there would still be strain on his eyes, although he would have chakra. But it's not like he has to use the MS the whole time against Konoha. Just set the village ablaze with Amaterasu, the fire would spread around everywhere and he could simply use Susano'o breifly whenever he needed.

Solo Glance>Tsunade.

Solo Glance>Naruto unless the Kyuubi decides to save Naruto from it, but Sasuke can also own the Kyuubi again, and have him begging him not to kill Naruto again.

Furthermore, from the heat of the Amaterasu throughout Konoha would set up for Kirin which one-shots Konoha, and Naruto.

Scenario 2

EMS Sasuke Vs Konoha - Karin was in Konoha captured, while Suigetsu, and Jugo were in the Iron country captured.

Naruto was off in another country training, not many Shinobi were in Konoha due to participating in the war plus Sasuke is alot more powerful than his former MS version.

Less people to fight against him,and far more powerful = making destroying Konoha easier.

Amaterasu orbs and Amaterasu arrows makes setting Konoha ablaze far easier.

Sasuke would have made it to Konoha by the time Naruto became buddies with the Kyuubi which means BM Naruto would blitz back to Konoha to fight Sasuke who would most likely lose without Legged Susano'o. Having Legged Susano'o would mean the battle would probably end as a draw.

But if he was fighting KCM Naruto he'd stomped with, or without Legged Susano'o.

Sasuke was able to keep track, and react to Juubi Jin Obito's speed so KCM,and BM Naruto would be easy aswell.

Not really. Only way for it to even happen would be some BS like the main fighters are on missions. Even still kishi would be digging a ditch for himself if he allowed sasuke to attack the village and then try to have him return back.
