he never feared itachi. .it's just that he did not hav strength to fight him in the beginning. .so he trained and got strong enough to defeat itachi . .wel atleast to keep up with him but never scared

When he was a kid sure he probably was. But growing out of it as a kid he knew what he wanted to do and was no longer scared of him. Even as a 13 year old he confronted him to fight him, yes he got beat easily but it shows he was not scared. So the answer is...No.
