i mean sure Hitler was bad doesn't mean i cant forgive the guy im sure he had his reasons and the drugs he was fed without knowledge by his personal doctor are what led to most of his crazy ideas imo, plus he advanced medical research quite far (not directly but still).not to mention it was >70 years ago and has had almost no direct effect on my life.

OT: you cant blame a guy who being manipulated killed your friends thats like blaming a robot that was programmed to kill your brother for killing your brother. naruto thinks the current obito is an awesome person who he can relate to nothing else.

I'm not sure what you want to happen regarding Neji. What is Naruto supposed to do? he is already fighting this battle for the sake of his comrades, including the fallen ones.

I doubt it only been a couple of hours since Neji's death till Kagyua showed up.

But would never forgave the person who killed your loved ones even if he was manipulated. I can't see myself or even the most understanding person doing that. Deep down some resent would remain. As with Hitler I live in the Caribbean and I wasn't affected per Se by World war two but in my Heart by what I have seen I could never understand what Hitler was trying to accomplish.

Right. Naruto almost turned evil because of Neji's death lol. But apparently he didn't care just because he didn't cry

Well people get off the forgive shit.

Naruto described the current Obito, and the kid that resembled him and tried to reach his dream, his line had the word Hokage in it for a ****ing reason. Naruto didn't forgive him, he never said that, he just showed respect with the 'he is nothing but awesome' line, it was directed towards BZ, because he kept calling Obito worthless and other insults, he said a couple of chapters back that Obito needs to take punishment. And that's exactly what Obito did, why wouldn't Naruto have respect for the Obito who saved him and the others?

Stakes > Neji

Well when Stakes = a massive barrage of Mokuton spears being fired from the origin of chakra which is the combined. might of 7+ bijuu that only hit you because you take a hit to protect some who's already. Protecting someone else.....

Then yes.

OT: It's once again Kishi assuming we interpret and understand what characters are thinking and meaning.

Example One: Hinata's hand comment.

Example Two: "He was the coolest guy."

Just to focus on Naruto. Firstly, recall when Naruto and Sasuke clash. Naruto notes only top class Shinobi can understand others. When Naruto and Obito clash he's able to see Obito's heart. Which has been long put aside and abandoned. So once we see Obito fighting on the good side again, one can say its like Obito's heart and his state up until that time reverse.

Naruto is complimenting the person thst could have been (a caring kind guy who wanted to be Hokage). Not the side of him thst was responsible for almost everything (well Zetsu-Sama was but I digress).

The appropriate phrasing should have been, "He could have been the coolest guy."

The MS translation was probably inaccurate. I'm guessing he'll say some thing more appropriate in the Viz translation

Why did Kishi make make Naruto forgave Obito so fast? In my opinion it wasn't good writing in his part. No human could forgave so fast. That's like someone forgiving Hitler. His mind would never allow that.Could you? Making a character behave more human like would actually make him more understanding to people.

Obito is one of my favorites but although Obito saved him, starting another great shinobi war and killing 40,000 shinobi plus close friends don't cover for it. I would have rather Obito remain as Tobi and remain a villain. Might have made all sense to all.
Naruto doesn't care about stuff like holding personal grudges for things in the past, especially when doing so isn't going to change any of that. Naruto is probably just really glad that Obito did change and he's pretty amazed to have him as such an awesome comrade that would risk his life so much for naruto and be so prepared to die for Naruto that he could do it with a smile on his face.

Naruto obviously cares a ton for neji which is why he cried and almost turned to the dark side when neji died, however if Neji's death is to mean anything, he has to defeat Kaguya and save the world. The good Obito really helped Naruto do that, and getting mad at Obito isn't going to help.

Finally, if all went to plan and black zetsu didn't pop out of no where, Obito was right about to give his life to revive everyone in the war including Neji. So basically, Naruto really appreciates the Obito who willingly died for the SA, and doesn't hold a grudge because it wouldn't do anything but slow Naruto down and possibly make neji's death meaningless.

When I read the thread title, I thought this was going to be about something totally different. Yet it turned out to be the same typical stuff you read on other threads. NB gets too predictable these days sadly.
