Was Manda 2 an ass pull?

Shows up once in the manga from my understanding, and is just taken out just as fast as he's introduced.

Manda 2 seemed to have crazy potential, he's even better than Manda himself! Yet just got used as a plot point to cause a conflict. They may as well as had Deidara just 1 shot the turtle to make it stop.

DSM Kabuto should have summoned Manda 2 against the Uchiha bros u_u.

No amount of summons would save kabuto from itachi. The only real reason manda would be useful is to move long distances fast, and he was in a close combat cave that he could control so no purpose.

Sasuke's new snake is Aoda. For some reason I find him a lot more likeable than most summons.

It seems Manda II WAS just one-use only and i'm fine with that, sadly introducing what is potentially the strongest summon and not using it is wasted potential but not an asspull, it did it's job in the story just fine and it's not as if the turtle needed to be attacked for the plot to continue, it was an optional thing- a little showcase of Kabutos power.

Its not an ass-pull. That snake was simply unecessary after that event, therefore it never appeared again. If its not important its not gonna have any screen time.

He didn't use him against the Uchiha bros since he wouldn't even fit inside of the cave, and with amaterasu, it'd be pointless. He'd be destroying his advantage(the cave) in favor of a powerful summon that'd probably be taken out quickly or used against him (sharingan genjutsu control)


I don't consider it an a-pull. Are you really surprised Kabuto would do genetic experiments?
