Sasuke was stronger than Naruto most of the series, he didnt catch up until he learned sage mode. They were meant to be equal, two sides of the same coin. They were destined to fight at the end of the series. Only hardcore narutards will accept that logic.

The thing is, some people fail to understand the manga. Naruto was the one who was behind & needed to catch up to Sasuke for most of the story, not vice versa. So perhaps it was fanservice for Naruto to have become equal to Sasuke.

Futhermore after 2 & a half years of training, Naruto was easily defeated by Sasuke with absolute ease, then he went on to spend multiple arcs training to catch up to him.

Even after further training, learning Sage Mode, Naruto felt that he still couldn't fight Sasuke without the Kyuubi's chakra.

Despite earlier claiming that he didn't need the Kyuubi's chakra. Naruto realized he needed it to fight Sasuke, & also had his assistance during the battle despite earlier saying 2 vs 1 was unfair.


Additionally, Sasuke never ultilized the Sharingan's copying ability to his full advantage. The Sharingan can perfectly copy any technique that uses Hand Seals, & is not a KKG just from seeing it once.

He always had a way to become significantly stronger in a short amount of time.

Kakashi, who is not an Uchiha, & had to deal with negative side effects from using the Sharingan, managed to copy over 1000 jutsu. On top of Sasuke copying jutsu he sees in battle, Kakashi could have been showing him a ton of stuff to copy.

Sasuke learned & developed both of his within days to master a High Level Technique, Fire Style in a week at age 7/8 for the Fire Ball jutsu, and Lightning Style in 15 days at 13 for the Chidori, on top of physically developing himself well enough to achieve Lee’s High Speed Taijutsu which took Lee years to achieve, all while knowing Orochimaru was after him.

This was during the time between the Preliminaries, and the Finals of the Chunin exam. If you remember, they had 1 month to prepare. I said 15 days instead of 1 month because at the beginning of chapter 93, it said, “15 days since the start of training”,

Naruto learned how to use his Nature element at 16, with the aid of thousands of Shadow Clones to help gain expereince & knowledge quickly. whereas Sasuke learned & developed both of his at much younger ages & had them mastered by 16 without using this method.

Sasuke had this down years earlier. Futhermore, Kakashi was the one who informed Naruto that he can gain all the knowledge & experience his clones do, if Sasuke had copied the Shadow Clone Jutsu, he surely would have figured it out himself, but at most Kakashi would tell him, & he'd be able to make at the very least a few clones to help him learn & develop even faster.

He can already become siginifcantly stronger within a short amount of time through his intelligence & training, that along with being able to perfectly copy most jutsu just from seeing it once......

His intellect + Copying abilities is extradonarily. Masashi restricted him so he wouldn't become too strong, otherwise Naruto would never stand a chance.

You'd be surprised how little Kishi cares about how you guys think or who you think beats who, themes and messages are more important than minor statistics or individual ability or feats. Everytime. They're equals because that's what every bit of imagery showed us.

Yeah, Sasuke used all his chakra, & had to gather some more. Meanwhile Naruto used all his chakra, & had a Bijuu inside himself continously gathering & giving him chakra because he was too busy fighting his opponent to do it himself.

Sasuke knowing this, formed a strategy to get the chakra the Kyuubi would give Naruto, once he was ready, & successfully did it.

See the difference? Sasuke had to attain chakra on his own, whereas Naruto had another person doing it for him.

The only way you can twist this up in Naruto's favor is too ignore logic.
