Was Madara's trump card really to absorb Hashirama's senjutsu ?

I hope not because it would be so disappointing . Madara needs to do something new and epic , not steal all the time ... Zzz

I don't think choice 1 or last one are going to happen. He said he is going to switch with Obito, but now there isn't anything to control the tree. I have already thought a theory of this and i will present it tomorrow. However this is what i think:

A) The fruit is still visible on top of the god tree, so by eating it, Madara will evolve much more powerful than possibly Juuobito. As we know, the fruit contains the Juubi's blood within it so Madara will be more like Juubi persueo Jinchuuriki. By that power he will control the tree as now he has Juubi's blood and will lead the other chapters as main villain.

B) Obito right now is the container of Juubi's vessel which is Gedo Mazo. Its lifeless and needs someone to control it. Madara is Uchiha and Senju with Rinnegan, so by summoning it, he can use Gedo Mazo to take control of the god tree and fight.

I think either of these are going to happen.

.....You can't be serious. All you are doing is showing me that the result is the same, not the method. Are you really going to tell me that absorbing Senjutsu into his own body is the same as controlling Hashirama and making him fight. :|

That's like me saying Itachi controlling Kisame to make him fight is the same as Itachi fighting himself....
