Official Translation: (I would assume it means that Itachi "looked at the bigger picture" and cared for the people.
This still doesn't make any sense. He's only 7. He has ... what, 2 years of somewhat mature experience at most? You gain experience with age. I have come across few very intelligent people who lack wisdom. In fact, in regards to social activities, they are inept in every sense of the word.

Itachi even thinking like a "leader" or thinking ahead about political repercussions of any kind at that age is laughable. I agree with the OP.

I don't think you understand the difference between wisdom and knowledge. Itachi was already having philosophical questions about the world and analyzed it to his best ability, thinking and rationalizing ideas and thoughts that generally only someone of hokage level would do. He didn't have the knowledge to properly assess but he had the wisdom

Disclaimer: Not hating on Itachi, he is in my top 5 favorite character list and he is number 1 to me in terms of overall character.

I mean, the more and more i think about it the less it makes sense. I mean at the age of 7? Lmao give me a break. Dudes only been able to remember and speak for 4 years at MOST. He was only in one war(according to the novel, which may or may not be filler) and no matter how much books he read or how wise his overall thoughts were, there's no way he can be wise as an Hokage. What im saying is, wisdom mostly comes with age and adventures. This is just Kishi wanking Itachi at his best.

Yea. He was on you.
