Before I start this out, I'd like to ask those who plan on trolling this thread with their biased, half-assed comments, to please back off. Just because you don't like a character, it doesn't give you the right to bash that character just because you think it's funny. Now, I'll make this short and sweet:
We all know Kishi has often had things happen in his Manga, that he had foreshadowed earlier on in the series. Examples can be found in this absolute beast by a

, made by an absolute beast of a user. Now, I'd like to direct your attention at a certain moment in the Manga, where Kakashi, while trying to teach his students how the Shinobi world truly works, gives an example of a hypothetical situation, where he told Sakura that he'd kill Sasuke if she didn't kill Naruto.

Seem familiar? That's because of the fact that later on in the Manga, a similar situation appeared, where a shinobi was ordered to kill a comrade for the sake of saving another. The Shinobi, in this scenario, being Nagato Uzumaki.

Now, this brings me to my original point. Kishi obviously meant to tell us that there is some kind of a connection between Nagato and Sakura. The question is, what does that mean? My theory is that Sakura, who is a part of team seven, and is bound to become equal to her team members sooner or later, will receive an implanted Rin'negan, much like Nagato did.
I feel that this power up would help to bring her up to Sasuke and Naruto's current level, finally fulfilling her dream of catching up with her teammates. And with Kishi's old habit of foreshadowing big events in his manga, frankly, I feel that this isn't too far-fetched, if I say so myself.
Bonus part: If this turned out to be true, one could argue that this could also lead to another argument that has often been foreshadowed, the Slug Sage Mode. With the Rin'negan on her side, she could finally go ahead and use it to copy Naruto's Sage Mode, and learn how to use it in a matter of seconds. Once she has mastered it, she will obviously gain some slug-like powers, seeing as her summon is a slug in the first place. If this were to happen, she'd definitely have reached Naruto and Sasuke's level, hell, she may even have surpassed them if she manages to use both the Rin'negan and Slug Sage Mode at the same time.
Frankly, I think we're in for a lot of powerups for Sakura in the next few chapters, and to be honest, it is about damn time.
Any thoughts?
