Was Kakashi's Generation the weakest thus far in Konoha?

Kakashi's promotion was advanced due to Konoha being in a protracted state of war. Kakashi was a chunin at 6 and a jonin at 12. Him and his squad were fast tracked to up ranks in order to fill the ranks of Konoha's army. It's the same reason why Itachi was also promoted at an early age. It had more to do with supply and demand of soldiers, than actual skill of said soldiers. Kid Kakashi's leadership skills are terrible and he still made Genin level mistakes.

Kakashi lacked emotion his skill we're was never in question. Kakashi didn't know how to protect his teammates from danger while still completing the mission. Something a ninja is not supposed to do in the first place.

Well if you see actually how powerful Naruto and Sasuke are at the end,most of K11 would look like fodders too in comparison except Neji and lee who are at least decent

Butterfly choji is the 3rd strongest
Sakura can poison and has decent war feats
Shino is the most op on the low

Hypothetical list

Konohamaru's - weak (Konohamaru being the solo exception. Possibly)

Naruto's - Strong

Kakashi - Weak: Exceptions made for 8 Gates Guy, DMS Obito and DSM Kabuto. Not including Kakashi since the sharingan was Obito's and that is what made Kakashi standout among his peers.

Minato's - Strong: Has Minato, Fugaku, Inochi, Shikaku, Kushina, Rasa, 4th Raikage Ay, Roshi, Konan, Nagato, Yahiko, Yagura, Bee, Hiashi, Hizashi

Jiraiya's - Average. The Sannin are powerful but no one else of note appeared from this Gen.

Hiruzen's - Strong. Hiruzen, Danzo, Kagami, Ohnoki, 3rd Raikage, Chiyo, 3rd Kazekage, Hanzo, Mifune

Tobirama's - Average?: Of note you have Tobirama, Muu, Gengetsu

Hashirama's: Occupied by two god tiers. Hashirama and Madara

We know so little about the other gen. You can't label them.

But based on the kage Hashirama and tobirama are the same generation which includes the gold & silver bros, Uchiha bros and the 1st rai, 1st kaze, and all the 2nd kage.
That's far above any other gen.

Kabuto is more hidan itachi deidara era/ age group
Your correct about the 3rd gen. And 4th gen. Sasori is in the fourth gen

Juubi Jin isn't natural or even on the scale of a normal jin. Since it involves having all 9 beasts sealed in one body.

DMS belongs to Obito. If Obito had DMS (Kamui in both eyes + Susanno) he'd be the strongest of his Gen. Not that eleventh hour asspull Kakashi got in order to contribute something to the fight against Kaguya. Only for it to disappear at the end of the fight and never return.

Gai trained and worked hard for everything he had. 8 Gates/Morning Peacock, Afternoon Tiger, Evening Elephant and Night Moth neg all challengers. Even god tiers.

The standouts are DMS Obito, DSM Kabuto (since he's a leaf shinobi and was constantly compared to Kakashi w/ Sharingan; before he got Sage Mode) and Guy of course.

Kabuto was 18 on part 1 (same as Itachi) so you can consider Itachi on this generation as well, or take Kabuto out of it.

Since it seems majority of people graduated around same age and became shinboi Kakashis generation would include everyone in your list plus the shinobi roughly his age (31):

Right, you don't know, but I know their exact age and if I didn't I listed that based on time frame how old they should be.
Kisame, Sasori, and Yugitos age was given in DB3. Konan and Nagato are both 35 according to DB4. I'm grouping them based on age and it makes more sense to group Gai (32) and Kakashi (31) with Konan, Nagato, and Bee (36) than to the Konoha 11 parents and guys like A because they are all 42-47 and its a wider age gap than grouping them with Kakashis generation.
