Should Kishi have saved her for this generation and used Madara as the last villain for Naruto and Sasuke? This would have still left us with a lot of questions, saving a lot to explore and it would force Boruto/Sarada to surpass Sasuke/Naruto. (because I cant possibly see how, or why they would need to be more powerful then Sauske/Naruto)

Nah, making Naruto the manga feel incomplete wouldn't really have been a good thing.

It's been implied in general that there were forces stronger than Kaguya that she was afraid of, and that's what the driving mystery of the manga is focused on.

No. Kaguya and her backstory problem is that Kishi tried to squeeze them into series while it was in it's final arc. You can tell how everything wrapped up Kishi was pushing for time.

He should have ended the War Arc with Team 7 beating Madara. And skipped the pointless fight between Naruto and Sasuke.

I believe that Kaguya only got about 13 chapters (give or take a few) out of the entire series, being introduced and then defeated. It was very rushed.

Kaguya was too late IMO. She should've been foreshadowed prior to the war jumping off. Not at the tail end of the war with Madara being nerfed out of left field.

I say this because most of the war just seemed like ass pull after ass pull. it didnt flow very well did it? I think Obito and Madara was far more than enough for the war. especially after Madara betrayed him and Naruto died. It was just getting back on track then, it went left with the whole kaguya thing. I loved the backstory and what she was capable of, but I felt she should have had an entire war just Focused on her. No madara, no Tobi. Just Kaguya.

Kaguya would have been better off as a movie character, like Momoshiki. Naruto and Sasuke should have sealed off Madara and went on the way things happened from there out.
Wouldn't really make sense imo. Because when you think about it, kaguya pretty much bridged the way for the series to expand more. If a random movie villain did that, people would be calling that filler even if there's a canon label on it...

An accurate presentation of how the Part 2 villains of Naruto we're introduced and handled by Kishi.

That's not entirely true because that's what Beerus did for Dragon Ball Z.

Kaguya just needed an arc of her own. Kishi had to retcon a lot of shit to make it happen. Hell, he had to retcon a lot just to make Madara a Jinchuriki.

A big problem with Kaguya is how centered the story was on the Uchiha being the end all be all of problems of the NV. It was Indra's curse against Ashura that kept going, and Black Zetsu manipulating Uchiha through the generations in order to bring Kaguya back. Coupled with Madara and Obito being the big bads for the war and having no idea who or what Kaguya is, made the delivery of Kaguya all the more hamfisted.

Kaguya has descendants through the Senju, Uzumaki, Hyuga, Kaguya (Kimimaro), and Ootsutsuki (Moon) clans as well. Kishi should've worked their lores into Kaguya's myth as well, if he wanted to go for this originator of chakra bs he was pushing.

That's dbz tho, besides from what I've seen. Naruto fans are more likely to call things "filler" if it isn't written by kishi or in the manga. Yeah, she should've gotten a backstory but SJ rushed kishi to end the manga...

This. I was waiting to see Izuna and shisui. These where my favorite charters, from the beginning(Izuna no longer, until we get a Madara Gaiden lol). And this was because of slight foreshadowing by kishi We knew Madra Existed for years, we knew he took/was given Izuna eyes. We know he destroyed the Uzumaki clan, long before the second act. We had even heard of the sage of six paths and the Byakugan and Hyuuga being the ancestors to the Hyuuga (and people on here told me it was just a rumor Kakashi heard, guess i gt the last laugh) Yet we heard almost nothing of this Kaguya Charcter. She should have been saved for this generation.
