Was IT the first YANG genjutsu?

While Genjutsu based on what the manga has told us is the foundation for Yin(Spirit). I wonder if IT was the first ever Yang release Genjutsu in the series.

Why it makes sense:

IT did not effect Edo.

Edo Canonically are affected by Yin Genjutsu as noted by Itachi being caught twice (tayuya flute/KA)
Logically this would make sense as Yin (Spirit) can harm Edos which are Spirits bound to a non living vessel.

However since Edo are bound to a non living Vessel it would make sense that Yang (Body/life) would have no effect on them since they have no yang to manipulate.

This would also explain why Sasuke's susanoo which is PURE Yin was capable of blocking it.

How are implying that Sasuke's Susanoo was pure yin? Is there any proof?and yin isn't spirit, yin is mental energy according to viz. Spirit is the soul of a person for example.

It could be fused with yang though. The light could penetrate through buildings and opaque substances. Sasuke's Susanoo blocked it because of Rikudou chakra ramping. It's likely.

IT is a different kind of Genjutsu. It doesn't effect you through illusion, controlling your senses but it worked on living organism. It paralyze you using light attack and then put you into a cocoon. The goal of IT is extracting your chakra and although Edo is made of chakra its not a life chakra but a ninjutsu chakra. Plus Edo is dead so dead people is devoid of chakra. Edo is an "experience energy" manifested using Resurrection jutsu. It a 'false' occurrence and against the principal of life so when its false it has no use in IT process. Why Edo is 'false'? It bcuz it keep reforming after completely destroyed. What is there for IT process bcuz there just a soul with "experience energy".

It seems like a reasonable assumption — unless you understand basic physics. The answer is very simple, and not at all mysterious. After a person dies, the energy in his or her body goes where all organisms' energy goes after death: into the environment. The energy is released in the form of heat, and the body is transferred into the animals that eat us (i.e., wild animals if we are left unburied, or worms and bacteria if we are interred), and the plants that absorb us. What is "experience energy"? If you study Paranormal activity "experience energy" is an energy that being absorbed by the environment and the energy is too strong that after the person die the energy manifesting/projecting the state of that deceased person through that "emotion" or "experience" energy. That's why Hiruzen was revived as an old person and not a young person. Bcuz the "Memory" stored within the environment is unite with the soul of the deceased person who summoned by Edo caster.

So to why IT not effecting Edo body, it bcuz Edo is a 'false' existence and not a living body but just a manifestation of dead people. And not bcuz its a Yang Genjutsu.

So much wrong in here. Infinte Tsukyomi is an illusion, illusions=Yin/genjutsu. The world that people are trapped in are not real they can't touch anybody in the real world.
The god tree saps on the life energy of the living to fuel the caster of IT (kaguya).

So Sasuke's susano'o being pure yin energy is just wrong, it's chakra because it's not an illusion. The itachi part is another story.

If there was a "yang" genjutsu it would have been Izanagi. It literally rewrites reality for the user, and can replace a new physical, living body and rewrite reality where they died as an illusion, and write a new occurrence into existence from their mind.

since Genjutsu is "illusion", and yang is "physical", a Genjutsu with the power to be physical would be a yang genjutsu.

Most likely "yin-yang" though, as it still requires the "illusion" part, and you can't make a genjutsu that is purely physical.
