I remember Sasori stating that he once destroyed a whole nation with his 100 puppet jutsu. But I dont think he stated which nation and he ever did. Its one of those things that Kishi never answers.

It was never stated, but in a filler they expanded on it, but in the filler he did it with the help of Deidara
