Was Genma's hair meant to be white?

Basically as the title says, Is Genma's hair supposed to be white? On chapter 599 page 2:

You can see Genma on the top panel, far right, with his classic senbon. We see his hair is white, along with Kakashi's but Rin's hair is also white. There's a number of people with white hair there, but we move on to Page 5:

Genma has white hair again! This might be Kishi's way of just saying their hair isn't black. Post comments or thoughts.

I personally think he would look boss with white hair XD

Yeah you might be right, but 3 people with white hair would be a little overkill :/

Well look at Rin, her hair is brown isn't it? The manga depicts it as being white so there you go.

True, it wouldn't be a good thing if there were just so many people with white hair. People would think differently about Kakashi if he didn't have white hair, or there were more white haired people.

No, that's Kishi's way of differentiating Blonde or Brown-Haired individuals.
Mei's hair in the manga is also white, as well as Naruto's, but that doesn't make their hair white.

I think it's so everyone will be noticed because if everyone had black hair then the whole manga would look weird.
Maybe to a point racist.(depends on how you feel).

Well actually, that's his way of differentiating pretty much anyone whose hair isn't black or red.
Sakura's hair in the manga is also white, but is intended to be pink. ^_^

In manga colour schemes, brown is white.

Look at tsuna from khr for instance. Red is an iffy situation though. Some choose to go with a white scheme, but others like Kishi and Oda choose black instead.
