was gaara better with the shukaku then right now?

to me gaara was using bigger sand jutsu's then what he has been showing now.

gaara had so much chakra and was able to use little bits of sand from the earth and create lots of it and even damaged kimimaro body which was suppose to be the hardest type of body there that even orochimaru wanted before sasuke.

gaara was also used a big sand jutsu to cover the sand village against deidara attack on the village when he had the shukaku

but now gaara sand jutsu don't seem to be on big scales like before when he didn't have the shukaku like when he tried to use sand funeral on edo madara it could have been way bigger all the sand was right there and even when edo madara used perfect susanno gaara could have use the enviroment of sand to fight against perfect susanno by holding susanno legs using the sand sand to keep susanno immobile and also use sand to wrap the sword of susanno .

so do you think gaara jutsu manipulation hasn't been as good as when he had one tail inside him or do you really think he is still the same and that the one tails didn't make a difference to gaara?

i think gaara relied on the one tails alot also because it was basically the same with naruto when he was a kid they will try to force power out of them but gaara was strong regardless

Wrong, many things determine the strenght of the Bijuu and the number of tails play a role.
When the host become friend with his Bijuu, they become a lot stronger. That's why the eight tails was stronger than Naruto with Kurama. But now, Kurama and Naruto are friend so they became stronger than the eight tails.

If every Bijuu had a host they work with (friends), the one with the most tails will be stronger.

The only thing shukaku did for gara was make it hard for him to sleep wich drove him crazy and the only time gara ever used his powers was during the chunin exams when he started to turn and developed a tails and stuff

Of course losing the one tails affected his chakra level and jutsu size.8 tails said number of tails doesnt determine bijuu strength!!! I dont think its been said in the manga the more tails the stronger .

You clearly didn't understand what I said, I wasn't referring the Bijuu as the one that actually benefit more chakra or power but they are able to benefit from the knowledge of their hosts, giving them the ability to better utilise their powers. ( which makes them stronger ).
And like I said, the number of tails is part of their power, there's other things that play a role in it.

when you read something, make sure you read all of it and not simply the parts that opens an occasion to throw insults.

imo, shukaku was more of a hindrance than help. Gaara didn't really use his power except for when he went batsh@t crazy during the chuunin exams. And I think jins have to use some of their own chakra to keep their bijuu under control. Now gaara doesn't have to worry about that AND he can finally sleep XD
