[Discussion] Was Enel the biggest waste of an amazing devil fruit?

I thought Enel had an amazing devil fruit. I definitely don't feel like he used his fruit to its fullest potential. Then after the arc he goes to the moon. I was like WTF. If he doesn't show back up in the story or die and his fruit reappear talk about a waste. What do you all think about it. And is there a fruit that you thought was wasted?

Well he said the moon carvings in his cover story are very important, and ad such I can only imagine that he will return to enlighten us. Good point but what was Oda thinking putting Enel on the moon? How can he breathe?

No you are right if there is a island in the sky why cant there be an atmosphere on a moon. OP doesn't follow actual are physics but creates its own. So there is a chance of anything as we all know in the OPU.
