Was edo-tensei, an unimproved form of rinne tensei?

was edo tensei, a product of unskilled use of rinne tensei?

we know that rinne tensei is possible only through rinnegan. we saw that there was a probability of some scrolls about the sage passed down to senju. is it possible that edo tensei was developed by tobirama after analysing rinne tensei.?

i too know that rinne tensei reincarnates the dead without influrncing them whereas edo tensei makes influencing the edos(according o hte wish of the caster) possible.

both are kinjutsus so is edo tensei derived from rinne tensei? its just my thought though there is not much basis of this possibility IMO.

Tobirama developed it, and he had (I'm assuming) no information on Rinne Tensei. So no.

Nope because anybody who knows the jutsu could perform edo and it requires a human sacrifice that becomes the body of the soul being revived.

While rinne tensei requires the user to have the rinnegan since its the power of the seventh path, and does not require a human sacrifice, just a risk to the caster dying from chakra exhaustion.

The concept is very different since one is perceived to be evil (edo) since someone is being sacrificed to revive someone else, while the other is good (rinne tensei) since its like self sacrifice.

I dnt think so..both bring back the dead but there are many differences..for rinne tensei you just need rinnegan but for edo tensei,it requires a sacrifice,victims dna etc.its more like an scientific experiment stuff.
