Was Danzo aware of Kamui?

Kamui is probably one of the most pivotal jutsu in the series, so why didn't Danzo try to take Kakashi's sharingan?

Danzo could use Ka to help him in his hunt for power more so then he could use Kamui

Danzo is more manipulative and "fighty from the shadows".

A jutsu that can be used to control and also kill would be more of his style, whereas Kamui is almost purely for combat/transportation.

He tried, he was supposed to fight Obito/Tobi after he defeated Sasuke but Sasuke took him down before he had a chance. But honestly, he wouldn't have stood a chance against Obito/Tobi.

Because danzo considered kamui as "not so good". That's why manga never mentioned danzo even thought of stealing kamui even once
