in this picture we see that Ashura has something like bijuu mode but its nothing like kurama mode or any other bijuu, even naruto when he had all of the bijuu inside him it wasn't like that

in this picture when the rikudo sennin says that that Ashura awakened HIS chakra, it wasn't the bijuus, he needed people to make him awaken his power but in the end he discovered that he has great and unique chakra, and that is why when his body was destroyed his chakra was so powerfull he and indra that he was able to live through the generations

I don't know if this was already clear to you, but this guy was a bijuu on his own, he has such a unique chakra.

another thing, did the two brothers have one great battle when their bodies were litteraly destroyed like the sennin says or did they live and battle for many times like hashi and madara ? and died normal deaths ?
imagine the intensity of this battle where the two opponents get torn to pieces ! probably that is what naruto uncounsciously knows and says to sasuke here :

Ashura represented a Perfect Jinchuriki and the manga facts you posted resemble that. He didn't need any Bijuu because Hagoromo only passed his will to Ashura after he died which means his ties to people helped him awaken his chakra.

- Hagoromo clearly stated that one day they will meet again; meaning that they separated after his death.
- Having similar appearances =/= source of power.
- His cloak has a necklace, where Naruto's doesn't have one.
- Ashura didn't have Shadow Clones to merge multiple avatars into one.
- Hagoromo nor Bijuus did not note Ashura as a Jinchuuriki.

It was all his chakra. His chakra bloomed when he learned SM, I believe Hashi and Naruto learned it around the same age (at 15).

Also, Ashura = Uzumaki + Senju so he definitely had Mokuton, could use TBB and wielded the Gedo's Life force, the reason he was able to use chakra cloak was because of the Juubi's influence over his chakra like Kurama's over Naruto. Indra's Susanoo is a Sharingan jutsu and the dojutsu comes from the Juubi's influence as well.

However I believe the use of TSB came from Hagoromo's power up which would also explain why both of his descendants have equivalent power to each other and to Indra's descendants.

because normal jinchuriki when they go in bijuu mode it's just the bijuu who get's out, like with bee and all of the other bijuus. why is then naruto's bijuu mode different ? my theorie is that it is because of Ashura's chakra, it combines with kurama's and takes a form close to Ashura's original chakra (Ashura's susanoo if I may call it like that )

I also believe that it is the reason why when naruto/kurama's chakra contacts the zetsus we see trees growing.

but that's just a theorie.

As far as i understand he was not a Jinchuriki.

Being a grandhild of the woman who ate the fruit of the Gedo Tree would have meant that he had power within him all along, although he had to work hard to unlock it.

Hagoromo had separated the Bijuu hoping one day someone would guide them so i doubt his son would have then sealed the Kyuubi.
