Was Anko Orochimaru's backup???

During the Chunin exams in part 1, Anko found Orochimaru and was going to use a jutsu to kill them both.
Orochimaru then told Anko that she was just casting the jutsu on a clone.
The thing is, it would have been easy and convenient for Orochimaru to just let Anko kill herself...

I reckon Orochimaru left Anko alive so that he could be brought back if all else fails. Maybe.

I'm pretty sure Oro could be brought back with many of the curse marks. When Sasuke fought Itachi oro was trying to be reborn during that fight. Itachi had to kill the mini snake that came from Sasuke.
