warming up Ten tails Madara vs 8th Gated Gai, this is what happened

Hello guys I would to share my thoughts about 8th Gated Gai vs Ten tails Madara battle. The most of people claim that 8th Gate put Gai above Madara or just make him more powerfull while Madara is more durable. This is also not the case.

Leggit comparison to dragon ball manga battles(NOT POWERWISE, just same situation with Frieeza being Ten tails Madara and kid gohan being Gai):

- kid Gohan rage against 2rd Form of Frieeza

- kid Gohan masenko energy attack against 3rd form of Frieeza

Now let's talk about battle itself:

^^ At the begining Madara is took off guard by Gai's increase in power

^^ Madara fly up from pit made in ground and is excited about battle, NOT SCARED or worried even a bit.

^^ Madara get more serious as he prepares to defend himself(as he can not move from some kind of reason), while also sending black balls to finish Gai. Still Madara is not going all out.

^^ Obito also didn't go all out until it was necassary and he feel in danger. Keep in mind that Obito was trashed around by attacks as well while not being serious, same as Madara.

madara didnt drop a single sweat. he's not worried at all. kishi didnt make juubito go all out cuz he was saving it for madara, hopefully, madara will get serious soon, because we have yet seen him go crazy

Exactly.... he should at least be much more serious and attack also in following chapter againt Might Guy, or at least we will see him go all out for sure against Sasuke and Naruto when they come back, Then we will see difference of power between not serious and serious Ten tails host Madara.

I agree with this thread. People are going on right now about how 8th Gate Gai is "wrecking" Madara but if Madara was really wrecked then he wouldn't be smiling and saying "Show me some more jutsus." Madara underestimated Gai (just like Frieza did to Gohan), got knocked around, and then he finally agreed to get serious. I guess some people forgot how Madara wiped the floor with the Bijuus after they supposedly "wrecked" him as well. We honestly haven't seen anything from him yet. Madara has MUCH more power to show. I love Gai, but there are way too many band-wagoners here on NB.

Hey KCM nice to read your stuff again friend I actually love the heck out of Madara & Gai, seeing the flashback with Gai and his father was inspirational as heck and I somewhat like what Madara stands for: rejecting the world.

(back to topic)

I think Madara LOVES to feel alive more than anything- so naturally he was waiting for that beating by Gai- this is not really sadistic but rather the balance for being a MAN- NO PAIN NO GAIN, which both Gai, Dai, Lee and I'd say Naruto and Hashirama embrace. This is what fuels Madara and makes him stronger.

The ones saying that Gai is gonna straight solo him or just gonna die are blind to everything which these characters stand for and can't see beyond what is happening in the PRESENT: Gai beating Madara up and Gai going to his limits! Both are great in their respects but if you look at it in whole: Madara will most likely endure Gai's plight but not enough to prevent his ULTIMATE mission from failing- Infinite tsukuyomi and ruling the world.

Collaboratively Gai will win but without everyone else he, naruto, kakashi or anyone else going against him cannot do it themselves- Madara is THAT STRONG as well but Gai is currently the Taijutsu King!

i don't know about all that but the way this chapter went, if guy was to survive a chaper or two more than madara would be running for his life but we all know that guy will die in next chapter so you can say anything you want....

Also here when Gai was Running around him, Look at Madara's face in the bottom Panel, No Smile, Hell he didn't even try to sound cocky. His face looked quite serious or at the very least looks like he is concentrating and not taking Gai lightly at all.

Well that is truth. I believe that Madara took Gai serious after flying out of the hole as you said, but still he didn't go all out.
Of course he was sweating and focusing on the battle but he was not going all out clearly.

The reason could be he wanted to test his abilites slowly increasing his power. He wants to get equal battle and enjoy it so he power up only slightly , because going full out could finish Gai.

Same as Frieeza last form while fighting Goku only increased his power enough to above Goku, if he went all out then Goku would be screwed at this point.

This is the closest comparision from dbz I can get:
