Warm Bodies Question

Watched "Warm Bodies " last night. For those who haven't seen it, it is awesome, funny and the actors play the role of the zombies just perfect.

For those who have seen the movie already, I have a question, I'll put it in spoiler tag, since it somehow reveales some of story:

In the scene where are appears at Julies' house, how did he enter the city ? We saw how complicated it was for her and she is the daughter of the mayor of the town.
