Well the story takes place before WoW.

Keep in mind that there was a whole other Warcraft game series first and that's what the movie is going to be based off of lore-wise.

OT: Saw this at Blizzcon and I had to clean up a lot of ectoplasm from the spooky ghost.

You cannot adapt a game like WoW into the big screen without lots of CGI.

You could still use models, miniatures and prosthetics and so on, I have a bad feeling this movie is gonna look worse than the hobbit

And they're not adopting WoW into a movie, they're adopting Warcraft

They even delayed the release by a year so they can polish the CGI, it should look good.

And yes I know, I just have a habit of typing WoW.
