Warning: spoilers ahead
Just watched the movie and I thought it was actually really really good. The very first scene set the tone real nicely and I loved the cinematography all throughout the story. They also did a nice job of visual story telling. CGI was great and the close ups of the apes were so detailed and accurate. I think the story was slightly lacking in excitement or complexion compared to the first one but I liked the narrative it tried to tell with ceaser on his one way quest to revenge for his family. Also Woody was great as the ruthless colonel. Only gripes I had with it was that it focuses alittle too much on apes instead of the humans compared to the second film and I thought the end sequence was a bit rushed. Otherwise I thought this was a great film and definitely something that should be seen in theaters
Anyways that's just my initial thoughts. What do y'all think of it?
