On a distant planet there are Genetically Modified Humans, this planet was Gods first attempt at creating life. These GMH’s have named their planet after the largest tree, whose roots are fed from the core itself, this is the planet named Graidonous. On Graidonous there are 8 continents, countless islands, and even more countries. On these 8 Continents there are 5 “Super Countries” as they call themselves.
These “Super Countries” are always on constant war with one another. Each is trying to take over, and rule the entire world. This planet has been bombarded by each countries magic long before humans were evolved on Earth, light years away. Each country specializes in one type of magic, and one aspect of trade, or occupation.
Trinium: The Water Country. The inhabitants of this country have the ability to control the three forms of water. They specialize in Fishing and Religion. This country follows the path of the Triple Goddess and listens to her prophets, born every 33 years, the Triplet Shrine Priestess’.
Orium: The Underground Country. Due to rough, rocky, and un-even land, this country has moved to the vast underground. They specialize in magic that allows them to mold and move the earth. They specialize in the mining of precious metals and gems from under the earth and in the tall mountains of their home land.
Argane: The Green Country. Home to the race of Elves, this country listens and values nature. They worship and follow the guidance of the Spirits of Nature. They specialize in Nature magic, allowing them to communicate with animals and plant life, and use plants in multiple ways. Their expertise is in pharmacuticals and they mass export medicine to all who need it. Each and every home is either built into the trees, or built into nature.
Septrius: The Windy Country. Known for their large plains and spotty villages, this country has made a living in hunting. The inhabitants are masters of one out of two types of magic, Wind or Storm. Depending on which parts of the country they live in, the inhabitants are also skilled in either trade or hunting. Most of the inhabitants live in large spires high into the air, and have an added mutations, Wings. These wings are what splits this species into sub-categories. They are all called Angels, but are also given extra titles due to number, size, and species of wings.
Kry-stel: The Glass Country. Known for their beaches of sand and glass dust. The inhabitants are known to be able to create glass and mirrors through magic and normal means. This is the most technologically advanced country, and export their advances to the rest of the world.
NaNo: Smallest of the countries, but widely known. This country is home to a rare magic that allows you to change your size. Not known as a super country, but they help out all countries as spies.
Typho: Land of Ash. This country is riddled with active volcanos. Though rare, there are a few villages in this country. Most fire scholars are from here.
Karma: Land of Balance. Home to the Academy of the Mages. A large country in size, but small in population. This country forces a treaty of Truce to any who enter their borders through any means. The natural inhabitants are known to master all sorts of magics.
