Zero's attention was drawn down to the messy brown haired man that had appeared before him. There was a brief silence as Zero contemplated how to deal with the situation. It seemed as though the man and Yoruichi had some sort of connection, but he wasn't her, and killing him wouldn't make him forget the blow she had dealt to his pride. There was a sudden gust of wind that blew amongst them that whisked his scarf about, as if it were a sign from the heavens. Zero discarded his black coat, which was in turn carried away by the wind as he walked towards Tasuke. Those behind him were sure to see the indigo rose that adorned the back of his black long sleeve undershirt, and they would surely knew what it was for. His swords vibrated lustfully against his legs as he reached about mid range of his opponent.
"Very well then. Shall we begin the survival tactic?"
Tasuke grins and gets into a ready stance, "More like a death tactic... FOR YOU!" His smile fades at his terrible twist of words, "Uh, that was pretty bad, lets just get this over and done with."

He was ready to show Tasuke the abilities he had gained throughout his long and illustrious life on the battlefield. The skills that had earned him the titles of Sword Emperor, and The Rat's Prince. Zero's only concern was if he'd be able to handle it.

He performs two hand seals and places his opponent into a Genjutsu where he will see Zombies rise up out of the ground around him, grabbing him by the legs and clenching their jaws around him, tearing his flesh from it's bone. More of these zombies walk from the Colosseum stands towards him. In reality though, Tasuke's opponent is frozen in place

Description: The user forms the Snake then Boar hand seals and sends his chakra into their targets brain. The target is then put in a genjutsu where he sees walkers rise up from the ground all around him and under him. Walkers are humans who died and their brains are still functioning aka Zombies. These walkers can be random dead people coming back to life or if the user knows people that their opponent knew and have passed, they can make those walkers into the people they knew. Walkers rise up from underneath their target and grab his legs and rise up grabbing all parts of their body. They begin to start eating their target. The target also see Walkers around him walking towards him to continue the assault. In reality the target is immobilized and can't move, despite the illusion consisting only of the Zombies. The target is not locked in an illusionary world but rather sees the Zombies added to the normal "reality". If the genjutsu isn't broken, the target will feel a lot of mental anguish and receives damage. This jutsu can effect multiple people.
Note: When effecting multiple people, the walkers are random.

Immediately after performing two hand seals he performs four more and slams his hands on the ground. Beneath the opponent lightning pools up and then releases itself as a giant column which shocks anything above it, the Diameter of the column is big enough to just fit the opponent within. And he wasn't finished there, Tasuke stood and performed one hand seal as Wind is his primary speciality - Jaws made of the element form around Zero and the pillar of lightning which would fade and then clamp shut on him when the lightning disappears; chopping his torso in two.

The moment the mouth and fangs form, it will then bite down sending those deadly fangs into the user's target/s, slicing through them like a hot knife cutting through butter, leaving whatever part of the body bitten by the mouth sliced cleanly off the body.

Taking all this into account, Zero deduced that he had been placed in an elaborate illusion created by Tasuke, and channelled channeled his chakra into his own brain and sent it into his own five senses. The senses that were not targeted were layered with a small amount of his chakra, while those that were targeted were completely overlapped and flushed from his chakra system. This releases him from the effects of the illusion and caused the zombies to disappear. In his mind's eye he went through the usual routine; getting dragged by the dark figures with red eyes, entering the “Black Box”, and the laughing demon the meant the end of the illusion as it was flushed from his system.

The kai version is activated when the user is sent into a Genjutsu to which is identified through the means of sensory , doujutsu and or other means. Lacking one of these, the user would need to self evaluate situation, allowing them to identify they are in a genjutsu . The user will channel his chakra into his own brain, placing chakra into the five senses. The senses that were not targeted by the targets Genjutsu will be layered with chakra at the minimum. The others that was targeted however, the chakra will overlay the targets chakra and actually flush the chakra out of the system of the brain, in the Genjutsu itself dark figures with red and yellow and dark devil eyes will come from the ground and begin to drag the target into the ground. After which the user will find himself in a dark room known as the “Black Box” which is actually the dark subconscious of the mind created by the illusion. In the room, there exists a red demon wearing a tuxedo and playing a piano and smiling to the user saying “You owe me one...boy” to which he starts laughing and the illusion ends when the chakra leaving the brain. When used as an attack, the user will use a set of 6 seal and channel his chakra into the brain of the user taking control of the five senses. The user will slam his hands on the ground, making it seem as if he used an earth technique. The earth rises around the target and places them in a new dimension known as the “Black Box”. In the new room the target will find themselves strapped to a black chair and piano music playing. The same red demon will be playing the piano and tells the target “Read for the symphony?” and laughs dark and loud as a dark figure with a shinigami mask on comes towards the target. In reality at this moment the target is unable to move. The masked man the places his hand by the heart of the target and proceeds to rip out the soul of the user , removing the mask and eating the soul, The masked man the laughs and begins eating other parts of the target till there is no more. During this time the target is immobilized in reality.

And it was just in time too. As the illusion was broken Zero took note of the lightning technique as it made it's way towards him. He had expected something more...Extravagant. He focused chakra into the ground through his leg and summoned a layer of rat flesh over the surface of the battlefield, which muffled out the lightning traveling towards him and the jaws of wind that would rise from beneath his position as it spread like wildfire. He willed the flesh to rise up around Tasuke in the form of several tendrils that bound his arms, legs, and mouth. As the tendrils of rat flesh went to work Zero brought one of Izanagi's blades to his waist, holding it parallel to the ground and focused his chakra in a steady stream throughout his entire body, increasing his speed and strength quarter fold. The increase in physical ability came from the chakra augmenting his muscles naturally, putting his body in a 'peak' condition. The same chakra also coated Izanagi's blades and allowed the counter offensive nature of the Autumn Stance to show itself. He then moved straight towards the immobile Tasuke.

Tasuke's face looks disgusted as the flesh forms over the earth and quickly stands and drops his sword, clapping his hands together and forms a staff between them as he pulls his hands apart. He grabs it and spins around, chopping down the flesh tendrils that go for his arms, then he cuts the mouth and leg tendrils. Tasuke then aims high into the sky, it's angles forward however and launches the Staff like a javelin and performs a single hand seal. After making the hand seal he kicks up the sword on the floor with his foot and catches it by the sheathed end, drawing it he brings it over his head and throws it at Zero, however it wouldn't be targeted at him and would just hit the ground and be embedded before him. Immediately after throwing his sword the staff would have dropped back down to skewer Zero through the chest and embeds itself into the ground behind him.

Description: The user begins by gathering up a considerable amount of chakra in his palms followed by clapping them together near his chest.. Once that is done, the user takes his hands apart but as they move away from each other the user forms a staff made of condensed lightning. The staff is approximately the same height as the user and about a foot in diameter.
Close range abilities:
The staff's main use is to be used in close combat, where it is able to be used as a normal staff, though it has the cutting abilities of Chidori(A-rank)
Mid range use:
The staff can also be used at a range, in which it gained.its name "dragonfly staff". The user can simply throw the staff like a spear but as It's in mid flight the user does a single hand seal thus transforming the staff as it moves. The staff quickly sprouts from its sides a pair of wings that resemble that of a dragonflys. This allows the staff to not only pick up speed and killing potential but also also allows the user to control it in mid flight to hit opponents. While be controlled, the staff has to always be moving forward and can't turn around nor make sharp turns..

As the wind blade traveled towards the lightning and eventually dispersed it, Zero also took note of the lone sword that had be thrown towards him. He simply willed the rat flesh between them to rise up and halt the progress of the projectile.

Upon throwing my sword and seeing Zero cut my staff out of the air I perform a hand seal and trap Zero in a sphere of air which compresses around him, restricting his movements as he tries to move around my sword. I would then throw two kunai that would hit the ground in front of the sphere.

Description:
An advanced futon technique that is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of air. The user sends chakra into the air around the opponent(s). Then, the user preforms two hand-seals and causes the air around the opponent/opponents to compress around them, binding them encase them in a near-invisible spherical prison of wind trapping them and restricting their movements. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the density of the air. Because of the density of the air it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. While active, the user cant preform any hand-seals. The technique last 1 turn maximum and user must wait two turns before each use.

He also used the same method to get rid of the two Kunai thrown towards him afterward. Seeing as how the rat flesh was going to deteriorate this turn anyway, why not make use of it?

In reality Tasuke had shot forward with great speed, closing the distance in an instant. The prison would disperse when I reach zero and as it does my strikes would hit him, all eight of them on his torso. All done in a couple of seconds I would be behind the opponent, now facing him as he'd probably be on the floor.

Tasuke's Hits land, with each strike he never stops moving forward, pushing back his opponent. Yet all this is done in the blink of an eye, his opponent would probably be falling to the ground from the speed and strength. Tasuke once finishing his strikes would be three meters behind Zero, facing him. But as Zero falls to the ground Tasuke whips his left hand diagonally upwards and whilst emitting a wind blade from between his fingers, at this close range it would skewer Zero's chest in a couple of seconds after the final hit had landed from his Chop-Hanging Rippling Fist. A Fatal blow.

Description: This technique is a pinpoint slashing strike, where the user emits chakra from their fingertips and materialises it into an near invisible weapon that assaults the enemy in a gust of wind. If the Sickle Weasel Technique can be regarded as a swarm of small wind kunai, then this technique is akin to a virtually unavoidable longsword which can leave the target's body mutilated. Just being in close proximity to the technique can cause minor cuts. The wind blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession, although in this case, each one weaker than the single use application. The technique cannot be blocked by physical weapons and is insanely fast by not relying on the use of Hand seals but, because it still requires the user to perform hand gestures to use and is somewhat visible in the effect it produces, it can still be defended against by using appropriate evasion techniques or fast elemental ninjutsu.
The Wind Blade Successfully Skewers Zero and he dies. Tasuke watches his body go limp and then walks over to his Sword, he picks it up and spins it a couple times on either side of his body as the Colosseum around him disperses. When it had completely gone he sheathed his blade after a final spin and walked towards the rest of the challengers.
