Emi takes the flower and blushes a really light pink color. "Th-Thank you..... But..... Why did you get this for me?"

Lucas looks to the ground

"Because I....."

"What?" Emi blushes more.

Lucas's face turns red

"I....I...I...l-like..."

She notices his face turn red and says, "I think I know what you're trying to say..."

Lucas stays silent as he begins to play with his thumbs again

Emi leans over and lightly kisses Lucas on his cheek.

Lucas looks up into Emi's eyes which was rare

"I-I....love you."

Emi blushes heavily and looks back into Lucas's eyes. "I....I love you too...."

Lucas hugs her tightly and begins to tear up a little

Emi wraps her arms around Lucas and rests her head on his shoulder. "Lucas....."

Lucas continues to hug her as he keeps his eyes shut holding back tears

"Are you okay?" she asks in a calm tone as she lightly pokes his cheek.

Lucas stays silent as he nods and lets go of Emi

Emi smiles and kisses Lucas's cheek lightly. "Okay."

Lucas just stares off to the distance with a frown on his face

"I have a feeling you're not telling me something...." she mumbles.

Lucas looks at her

"Im not hiding anything it's just...."

He begins to tear up again

"I've never had someone care about me before."
