Emi, in her room, lays in her bed buried under the dark red blankets and is breathing lightly in her sleep. With each breath she takes, the lights in her room flicker on and off.
The entire hallway was trashed. Broken furniture and glass scoured the floor but no one was seen around the area. A voice could just barely be heard downstairs but it was a bit muffled and difficult to understand what was being said.
The closer that Lucas gets to the bottom floor, the louder the crashing noise is. "Ugh! I think they took it with them! They'll pay dearly for such a thing!!!!" the sound of more glass breaking and objects being violently thrown around is heard. A door around the corner was cracked open where all the noise was coming from.
Inside, Cassiopeia is breaking through all the furniture inside looking frantically for something while her older brother, Beowulf leans against the wall casually as if nothing is going on.
Beowulf sighs. "I should hit you every time you apologize for no reason........ Whatever, I have other things to worry about...."
Cassiopeia walks up behind her brother and tugs lightly on his sleeve. "I can't find it...... Does that mean Emi we won't be able to get Emi back?" she asks with a look of dismay on her face.
"She's an omen....there are plenty of reasons..." Beowulf looks over at the mess his sister made. It would take a long time to replace all that broken furniture.
