A mixed martial arts fighter accused of brutally beating his adult film star girlfriend is in jail after a manhunt ended with his arrest in a hotel room.
Jon Koppenhaver, who goes by the name War Machine, was captured in the Los Angeles suburb of Simi Valley.
A warrant was issued for the 32-year-old's arrest last Monday after his ex-girlfriend, Christy Mack, posted graphic photos of her swollen face online.

She said in a statement that Koppenhaver had turned up unexpectedly at her Las Vegas home on August 8, and went berserk after finding her with a friend.
The welterweight fighter allegedly attacked the friend and forced Ms Mack to shower before battering her.
She said he knocked out some of her teeth and broke bones in her face before hacking off her hair with a blunt knife.
Ms Mack, who has a tattoo on her back saying "Property Of War Machine", said she managed to flee the house naked and call for help.
"After many months of fear and pressure to keep this man happy," Ms Mack wrote in a statement, "I feel that I can no longer put myself in this situation."
US marshals said they worked with police and the Department of Homeland Security to capture Koppenhaver, who is now in jail awaiting extradition to Nevada.
A hotel guest who witnessed the arrest told KTLA that officers used a stun gun on the suspect.
Koppenhaver, who made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut in 2007, was convicted two years ago of attempting to commit battery with substantial bodily harm.
