It comes down to necessity, war for money.
War for the need of land to grow.
This war is over petty arguments of marriage.
(Yet i am sent to die)
Time to grab my blade, my sword and shield.
(They are the only thing i can rely on)
I am poor, not rich thus i must fight.
(while pigs must stuff themselves with lavish foods
this war is told to be for the rights of all.
(Yet i see one man leading us who was scorned above all)
we shout our chants as we move.
this world of mine is just what i want to die.
burn it in fire till it is consumed and turned red hot.
then watch burn black as its life fades.
(we all live in a facade of the world)
my sword begs me to fight, my shield to stay alive.
i am ready to die for different reasons.
back home i have kids to feed, i have wife to comfort.
(yet the man i'll kill is also in the same predicament.)
is war truly right, i wonder as we charge.
i get my first kill as i slice down a man.
(his wife and family will grow poor, forgive me.)
i continue to fight.
(though the blood stains me now.)
if i am too die in this plight, please forgive me.
(for the monster i am becoming
no world is safe to ensure no wars would be fought.
we could soar in the heavens, yet still fight.
day and to end the of the nightly moon.
Tsukuyomi will bathe in a deathly swoon.
(the gods can b cruel)
now i stand victorious
(you killed many fathers)
i shout in unison with my fellow men.
(they're all hollow inside, like me)
today we won a victory.
(yet i feel so empty)
i can go home to my wife
(as another a monster of war)
