That so called peace is an illusion. Those who survived the onlsaught of this war will simply harbor hate over what was lost to them. That hate will breed resistance and lead to rebellion. A utopia isn't something you can force on people and expect it to last. sooner or later, the leader who brought about said "peace" will pass and leave a power vaccum to be filled with yet another tyrant who will try to realize their version of "peace"

They could just debate it out you know... The only reason you should go to war is if you're protecting your country. Therefore, if nobody ever attacks, we should live without casualties. That does not equal peace, however, since war is not the only obstacle to peace. There are things such as discrimination, poverty, fear and many other things that can happen without war. What the world really needs to do is be honest and share their economic power with other countries. If everybody helps each other, nobody will be in debt, science will reach further lengths and there will not be any tension between countries. I am not pro-communism, I am pro-socialism. It combines the truth of capitalism with the ideals of communism. Basically, it's Great Britain - free health care and things like that.

TL;DR: No, because war should not be used as a tool for anything.
