Sasuke could try to catch Gaara with his hawk so he can get close enough to use Chidori but I see Gaara stopping most attempts from that attack. Gaara would win 7/10 times.

You sure about that? The location is a desert and this is Kabuto fight EMS Sasuke. He'd get whipped out of Susano'o in 5 seconds or he'd get surrounded by a giant sand dome if he tries flying on his hawk. Gaara > MS users.

this allowed gaara to increase the speed of the sand and control it more freely.


Even without onoki's help, gaara can still manipulate the ground under sasuke's feet and easily yank him out of his susanoo. A simply sand tsunami will give him all the sand he needs.
