wanting a lot of advice on writing a fan fiction and looking for ideas

As a girl who is huge into romance, I want to write a fan fiction about Indra Otsutsuki and an OC. I just don't know how to write about a character who's personality is still unknown and background I can only predict, because Kishimoto hasn't said anything about it yet.

His jutsus are still unknown as well. (I may like romance, but I want action in it )

I don't want to write a love story that is like twilight (Don't get me wrong I am a twilight fan, it's just the characters needed more to them), because love wise that kinda thing just wouldn't happen. It's highly unlikely for there ever to be a girl like Bella who somehow every guy loves unconditionally, without more conflict. Also didn't want to write a story where Ashura and Indra fought over a girl, it's just to bad of a plot.

Basically I'm asking how do write a story about Indra Otsutsuki and an OC?

Is there anything you can tell me about him that will help me to write this story?

Also how do I develop a good story for it, and figure out how to put Indra's character into it, without him losing character?

My guess is he would like someone like Sakura, because that is who Sasuke chose, but you never know because there is always a difference between each incarnation (it's a theory).

Any advice on a romantic type storyline? Or an original character that isn't a bad match for someone of such power? I don't think she needs to be powerful though, because Sasuke chose Sakura...

Also add Asura into the story stealing his Oc and making his wife .. Read for Stephnie Meyer Novel it will help ..

Given what little we know about Indra, you might do well to look at Sasuke's character. Like Sasuke, Indra was a loner and believed that power was the answer to a many, if not all things.

Sakura is a really bad example to use for a love interest (no offense to Sakura as I do like her just not her infatuation over Sasuke)

Indra's love interest would probably be someone who can also demonstrate that she doesn't need him to save her at every turn. Someone with a strong will of her own yet someone who can also relate to his ideals and his history.

What we know of Indra is that he prefers to do things by his own hands, and is a bit jealous that his father would choose his younger bumbling brother over him who we are told is suppose to be a genius and naturally talented.

His female should probably be a window into understanding his own brother and father, in other words, she should probably be a Sage. Her demeanor would probably be closer to Konan than Sakura.

Just a thought for starters.

She is shy at first but as time is spent at this waterfall they hangout note and you develop her character. Now older, ashura is jealous and sends men to kill her family and stitch up Indira making him look bad.
Now the uchiha were looked down on despite their power. And the story consists of them trying to rekindle the love and then Indira and her fight together protecting the people that were outcast and seen as inferior to the clans and feudal system. Then the fight between, then write about them starting a family quite away from all the fighting and have kids. But then ashura kills indiras wife to get at indra and the fight between the brothers was actually indra protecting his children from ashura, not a fight about who got the ninjutsu passed down.Ashura is defeated, but it ends with Indira holding his dead wife and crying...
Ashura made it look like he won by telling the village and all its clans that he beat Indira after Indira killed his wife, making uchiha look bad from the start..

This doesn't stay true to there characters, though. It's more likely Ashura is trying to stop Indra in the end when he goes curse of hatred, like all the incarnations fueds. It's probable that Indra loses his wife and goes curse of hatred, or goes curse of hatred from the sage of the six paths dying, but before this happens he fights over being successor to ninshuu and loses and later is tempted by black zetsu. Making an interesting twist in the storyline.

Don't ask us what to write about. Writing is to free your own imagination and ideas, not to ask people what to write. Write whatever you want to write. If it's any good, the right people will like it. If not, then try again with something different. Let your imagination and creativity run free, it's all whatever YOU want.

Alright, here it is. Naruto is the kind of guy who never gives up on his friends, even when they **** up. Hell, Sasuke went missing nin, became an international criminal, and Naruto still went "No gotta save Sasuke-chan-kun-sama-obayo!"

So it stands to reason Ashura would be like that too. Maybe one of Ashura's friends/subordinates knows about the whole heirship to the Sage of Six Paths, so he goes to kill Indra to guarantee the title will pass on to Ashura. However, OC stops him, and gets killed. Indra calls Ashura out on it, demands the mans head for killing his wife/gf/whatever. Ashura, in his infinite wisdom, says that he won't let his friend die and for Indra to just calm down. Hagoromo like the dumbass he is sees this as the true way to peace and entitles Ashura his heir. Indra is naturally pissed about this, and when BZ gives him the chance at revenge, he takes it.

If a character doesn't have that big a profile to go off, that just means you can make them however you want them to be (maybe use the events in his life to determine what kind of personality he had). There aren't many shinobi around this time and no villages either, so keep the timeline in mind. Other than that, whatever kind of girl you think would be a good foil for Indra's personality and might provide either some good conflict later on in whatever way, go for it. The best part of these historical FFs is you get to rewrite history in whatever way you see fit
