Hello again everyone and welcome back to another theory for your entertainment and my misery. This time I will be talking about the possible government system and agriculture of Wano country. In an interview back in February, Oda said that Wano may start in September of this year so I am quite hyped and you should be too.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most of Wano's customs is based off of real life Feudal Japan. The men follow the samurai warrior code and woman are simply viewed as housewives. The Shogun rules over the land and samurais live n' die for the safety and protection of him. The system of Wano is based off the Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. The Five rings are Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Void. Each ring represents a village in Wano.
Kin'emon is from a fire village called Kuri.
In Japan, Kuri is a Japanese kitchen that is used to welcome guest. This village may be the first one the SHs n' company visit. Kuri also means Cattle, which are animals who are intolerant to heat and sunlight. Pretty ironic. This is also the village where Zoro will learn to cut fire and explosions.
As one man can defeat ten men, so can one thousand men defeat ten thousand. However, you can become a master of strategy by training alone with a sword, so that you can understand the enemy's stratagems, his strength and resources, and come to appreciate how to apply strategy to beat ten thousand enemies.
The dependence of location is crucial. You must be in a place where man-made objects such as buildings, towers, castles, and such do not obstruct your view, as well as facing or standing in a position where the sun or moon does not affect your vision-Book of Fire.
Shiliew "of the Rain" may represent a water village
This village must be by a lake or river system, complete with plants and a waterfall.
Things like spirituality, religion, and one's outlook on life should be taken into consideration.. The meaning of water in relation to life is flexibility. Water demonstrates natural flexibility as it changes to conform with the boundaries which contain it, seeking the most efficient and productive path. So also should one possess the ability to change in accordance with one’s own situation to easily shift between disciplines, methods, and options when presented with new information. Book of Water
Waterfalls are used for meditation in attempts to ease your spirit.
Jigoro "of the Wind represents a Wind Village
An important part of understanding your own way is to understand the way of your opponent as precisely as possible. Some of the world's strategists are concerned only with sword-fencing, and limit their training to flourishing the long sword and carriage of the body. Other schools do not conform to the ideals which he himself writes about in the Book of Five Rings, such as footwork, sight, and over-reliance or over-familiarity with a weapon. Book of Wind
Making a baseless assumption here but the 3rd Samurai who was with Kin'emon and Kanjurrou may represent an Earth Village and may be in Zou. The Earth Village is the 2nd most important village in Wano. This village is were the forest and mountains of Wano are located and Buddhist temples reside at the top.
Timing is important in dancing and pipe or string music, for they are in rhythm only if timing is good. Timing and rhythm are also involved in the military arts, shooting bows and guns, and riding horses. In all skills and abilities there is timing.... There is timing in the whole life of the warrior, in his thriving and declining, in his harmony and discord. Similarly, there is timing in the Way of the merchant, in the rise and fall of capital. All things entail rising and falling timing. You must be able to discern this. In strategy there are various timing considerations. From the outset you must know the applicable timing and the inapplicable timing, and from among the large and small things and the fast and slow timings find the relevant timing, first seeing the distance timing and the background timing. This is the main thing in strategy. It is especially important to know the background timing, otherwise your strategy will become uncertain. Book of Earth
The most important village is in the center. The village in the center that represents voidness lies the Shogun. Shogun means "general" and the court of the Shogun is called the Shogunate. The most important Shinto shrines may be scattered throughout the Void village and chimes are placed to scare of Yokai, as the Void village may also have sacred burial grounds.
By knowing things that exist, you can know that which does not exist. In the void is virtue, and no evil. Wisdom has existence, principle has existence, the Way has existence, spirit is nothingness. Book of Void
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since Wano is based on Feudal Japan, they must follow some Shinto and Buddhist customs and one if which is the belief in Yokai.Yokai are jaoanese demons, ghouls and spirits and are known to cause mischief, cause misfortune, kill, possession and being the source of curses. To counter this, the people of Wano must have monks and priests to ward off spirits with chimes.
The reason I say this is because a lot of the Luffy-Law alliance and company kinda represent Yokai. There are ALOT of different yokais so I just named a few.
If you are wondering why Kin'emon had no reaction to Brooke, its because skeleton yokai are friendly spirits.
Know how The SHs typically become enemies of a country/village before they become heroes? Well one of the reasons the Wano samurais may view the SH alliance as enemies is because of their resemblance to Yokai(and Zoro having the Black Blade Shusui).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think everyone can agree the Wano is Zoro's arc. Not long after arriving in Wano, Zoro will obtain his dreamed fire sword and will train in Kin'emon's village of Kuri. Soon enough, he and everyone else will learn about curses. It is then Zoro with the Sandai Kitetsu, Cavendish with the Durandal and maybe Law with the Kikoku(Demon's Cry) will try to do something about their cursed blades(or just learn more).
Cavendish will learn to control the yokai spirit of Durandal, Hakuba.
Zoro will go from village to village not only to enhance his swordsmanship, but to claim his spirit as his own from this Asura spirit. It'll be a mental battle for Zoro and unfortuneately, Zoro will lose control and his Asura spirit will go berserk turning him into a black flame wielding raging demon. (Asuras are known to use black flames and in Shinto religion, the God Izanagi created Amaterasu the sun goddess from his left eye and Zoro has no left eye. Subtle foreshadowing). A duel with Sanji with help Zoro regain complete control and the ultimate demon/yokai will be born.
Lets not forget about Brooke. His spiritual training in Wano will help him use his DF(Soul Soul Fruit) better. Brooke can summon the cold atmosphere of the underworld so not the souls of the underworld? Brooke's own soul can possess the living and while the yokai souls he summons can only posses the dead. The dead? Isn't there an expert with dead bodies?.....
The former ultimate Yokai Gekko Moriah, and he'll return baring an even more demonic appearance.
In the chpt 784 color page, there are zombies everywhere and there is a tombstone that says "944." Moriah was introduced in chapter 449.
With Moriah's zombies, Brooke can use the souls of the underworld to posses them and possibly eliminate their weakness of salt. With this, the SH alliance will gain an undying army of ghouls.
Kaidou has an army of a Hundred Zoans
But can it withstand the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons?
(and Tashigi......)

Today, however, stories often color her as more human, emphasizing her ghost-like nature and ephemeral beauty.(Monet)
