Waiting

As I sit there on the curb of a park
I know the time
I know my path
How long can I wait til its gone

Sitting there a few minutes
shows my need to wait
to give you time

A few hours pass
shows my trust for you
thinking u might be late or
just plain forgot

After few weeks go by
shows my friendship on you
telling you that I wont break it
even if I have to wait

Sitting there on the curb
knowing that you may never show
as I wait lets others know
that i show my love and care for you

I will wait my whole life
watching it go by
just to see you come
just to show that I had faith

On a curb next to the park
knowing the time
knowing the wait
proves who i am.

you cant be bad at poetry mate, look at me it just runs out of my hands and mouth you know why becuase its just my feelings...
if you write about something you care about then it can't be trash !

I cant sing like some of those songs I just add my own beat to the poem and if it flows It continues to repeat in my head to where it becomes a song with more lyrics.
