you really think fodders dont train and work hard? rock lee works harder than any other ninja yet it took sasuke weeks to move at the speed rock lee took years to learn.

It didn't matter how much Joe Jackson beat his boys, Michael was the only one with real talent.

I understand the point you're making, but it's a fact that hard work can only get you so far, but also that natural talent can only get you so far as well. You do need some degree of both to succeed.

Now what the OP is trying to say is that people just place themselves into the Narutoverse and select what they'll be like. They select their favorite clan, their favorite jutsus, and think they'll make themselves gods and will perhaps put themselves in a position of prominence and date the most desirably character. Things don't work like that; you don't get to choose your family and characters aren't just going to teach you their jutsus.

It's just a fantasy wish-fulfillment, yes, but it's so cliche and over the top. It can be annoying too. That's why I don't read fanfics, the obvious self-insert characters often reek of mary sue-ness.
