Both of these translations states that there is a clan named; The Hagoromo Clan. Just what did I miss? I never noticed this when I read it before, but if there is a clan named after the Rikudou Sennin, Hagoromo. Then maybe The Kaguya Clan is named after Lady Kaguya herself? Gladly I read over the chapters again, is this a mere foreshadowing of Kishi's work or did he just happen to pick the name of Hagoromo and Kaguya based on past clans he had made?

I noticed this ages ago. As did a lot of other people. There were loads of threads about it. It's nothing new. In any case, if the two were linked, they'd be called the Otsutsuki clan as opposed to Rikudou's first name.​

I was stating that the clan was named after the real name of Hagoromo, meaning that his name was known to some people. (In other words, he was known by his real name to some and not Rikudou Sennin.)

Then again, I am not really asking questions regarding the clans. But rather if Kishi was foreshadowing or if he used old names of clans to name his newer characters. (People see to watch the pictures and ignore the text these days.)

i had previously made multiple threads regarding the connection with SO6P but people seem to dismiss it because the clan name of hagoromo is ootsutsuki. In fact, this reason alone made some people completely dis-regard my threads.

I've been looking, haven't found anything yet. So far we only have the Kaguya Clan and Hagoromo Clan, it really does seem like Hamura was completely forgotten. ​
