I would say that Naruto fighting Madara would be the real Naruto XD! Aside from looking worn down a bit back when Madara said, "A shadow clone huh," Naruto is seen standing in front of Kakashi and shortly after an enraged Naruto about the Kages tears of the sealing chains holding down Bee.

Don't know about the wood dragon. Could be Naruto showing that he is Naruto by taking down that dragon when it was supposed to have stopped Kurama in the past...could be that it truly activates on contact!

apparently he was there the whole time and the wood dragon was a justu used my the 1st hokage that Madara learned how to use and he's using it to fight Naruto.

I think Naruto was hiding under Bee at the time when Madara said the Naruto infront of them was a clone. (there were 2 narutos at that time. 1 that did the tailed beast bomb, and the other that teleported to kamui's dimension) Then again I could be wrong, and those simply BOTH could have been shadow clones.

I think Hashirama's wood dragon can grow more appendages, making it like wood tentacles that continually sprout and overwhelm the target. I'm guessing it has the chakra suppressing properties that Yamato, and Hashirama had in their wood techniques.
