If only DNA is needed how is that Madara was resurrected but someone like Jiraiya wasn't despite being a Sannin alongside Orochimaru. Maybe it's the fact that his body was at the bottom of the ocean.

Yeah the Jiraiya thing doesn't really add up. I refuse to believe that Orochimaru had ancient Madara's DNA yet not his teammates.
