As far as i am aware kakashi's kamui sends things to another dimention, ( i dont ever remember him bring anything back from this dimention.)

So how is it that sending naruto's rasengan to another dimention while tobi was dematerialised mean that the rasengan hits tobi?

+ on a side note. Shouldnt it be that as soon as the rasengan is teleported that naruto cant feed it chakra and it would then, kidda, just die out/ fade away? Not realy sure how best to word tht

It's already chakra, he just holds it in place, but it was nearly instant so it didn't have a chance to dissipate.

While Tobi is still visible, when he's intangible, he's in the other dimension. Therefore, when Naruto's rasengan was warped, it hit Tobi in the other dimension where he was.

When Tobi is dematerialized he is actually in the other dimension and we are just able to see him. so by sending Naruto's rasengan to that dimension it was able to hit Tobi and cause damage.

If when Kakashi sends it to the other dimension it immediately impacts Tobi then it would still have some punch to it. As you can see it did not do as much damage as Minato's did when it was a direct hit.

I think when he becomes intangible he himself is in another dimension, and since Kakashi's Kamui is the same dimension, he sends the Rasengan which would originally hit Tobi in Naruto's dimension, and sends it to Tobi's which hits him.

its quite simple.....what tobi do while evading is teleport himself to another dimension...now kakashi also teleported the rasengan to the other dimension and it hit him there.....

Well he didn't really bring it back, when he sent it to the next dimension it hit tobi there because when people phases through him in the real world he is solid in the next dimension and vice versa but you got a point there with the rasengan but i think it was in a 5 second interval so

I made a thread earlier explaining and people said it was good so this should help.

this is how i understood it...
when tobi dematerializes he kinda send his body to another dimention and his spirit stays...so when kamui sent the kunai or the rasengan it hit tobi in that other dimension....o_O

idk....check this review out i think it'll explain better....

i might be dead wrong about this but i'm terribly confused as well...
sorry :D

so... Kakashi sent naruto's rasengan to where tobi was and gave him a clear hit?

Essentially.

This is a little more speculative, but it seems that the two dimensions are layered in the same 3 dimensional space. Therefore, when Kakashi warped the rasengan into the other dimension, it was put in the same space relative to Tobi who's real, tangible body was in that same dimension.

How much chakra does Tobi have?
His jutsu is similar to that of Kakashi, which consumes chakra like Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, so how does he manage to use it multiple times at will without panting at all?
