Waited for the kages to go. Hes needed to undo the genjutsu aaand hes currently second strongest on the field. An empty battle ground too. Sasuke played it well in my eyes.

I think the real problem is the fanfiction writers, for the most part, turned out to be very wrong about how things would unfold. Lotta butt hurt to go around.
