Izanagi has nothing to do with Indra and Ashura's chakra. These chakras were only meant to be fused to get back Hagoromo's power.

Izanagi in the other hand is just a plain jutsu that needs the power of Uchiha (and Senju for the perfection), and Danzou is the proof of this feature.

Talking about izanagi. Why didn't sasuke use it when he got stabbed in the heart? On no my precious eyes are worth more than my life even if I can't use them while dead.

You cant activate Izanagi after stabbed. You need to activate it before something happens. That's why Danzo shut his Izanagi down for a while to avoid wasting sharingans.
