Ok maybe I'm late for this but I just realized that Sasuke and Naruto are essentially both heading the leaf...just like Madara and Hashirama at the beginning of Konoha..wtf? Everyone focuses on Naruto being Hokage and finally achieving his dream but don't stop to realize that Sasuke is pretty much what Danzo was to Hiruzen...in a way. Except without all the shady behind the scenes stuff. Is this what it would of been like to have Hashi and Madz in the leaf together? Didn't Sasuke achieve his dream in a way as well? He even says so himself in The Last.

Also the Sasuke/Naruto to Hashi/Madara comparison is way off. Sasuke is Danzo? that would only be the case if everything he said to Naruto after VoTe 2 was a lie.

Danzo was the one who made the tough choices to protect the Leaf this trait shared heavily with Itachi killing his own clan to protect the Leaf from War.

Sasuke's supposed to be changed person someone who after VoTe 2 went on a path of self discovery so unless he discovered he never changed lol then he shouldn't be compared to Danzo.

Hashi and Madara built the leaf together and ran it for a while until Madara got disgruntled and left because his clan never believed him about the Senju weakening their clan or something like that.

Naruto became Hokage and ran it alongside Shikamaru at his side and Sasuke has been on his own I guess on missions for Naruto as of Gaiden chapter 2. So not leading with Naruto but helping the Leaf nontheless

You assume Sasuke would try to escape, He's supposed to be a changed man after talking to Naruto after VoTe 2. He understood all the bad things he did and would of accepted the punishment.

As good as you may seem that would be, It'll never happen for Sasuke though his daughter is another story. She hasn't been corrupted yet so in her the hope for Hokage among Uchiha is alive but for Sasuke there is a 0-Never chance of him becoming Hokage.
