Tell me what you know of wind in Naruto-verse/our RP. What is it strong against, what is it weak against, what combinations with other elements can you perform with wind and what are the two main 'forms' of wind release?

Fuuton is one of the five
basic elemental nature
transformations. By making
chakra as sharp and thin as
possible, you will be able to
transform it into wind and
use it. Fuuton is mainly
short to mid-ranged
offensive techniques that
combine brute force and
keen precision to deal
cutting and slashing
damage. A rarity among the
five chakra natures, wind
techniques are usually
performed by generating air
circulation and can be
enhanced through this
method as well. Wind-
natured chakra can also be
channeled into blades to
increase their cutting power

Also, I do prefer you to use your own words and not copy/paste directly from elsewhere please... as it didn't answer all my questions.
Two forms of wind release, you mentioned compressing (well, the info you copied) wind currents to make wind as sharp as possible.
What would be the effect if you didn't compress the wind, but rather expanded the wind currents.
A poor pictograph of what I mean... is say slicing wind is this symbol > What happens if you open it out to say )?

If it is expanded it'll throw away the opponent really far like Rasengan (am I right?)

Basically, the two main applications of wind are slicing wind and blunt force wind. Slicing wind is created by compress the wind currents until they are as thin as possible, giving them a cutting edges. Blunt force wind does the opposite by opening up the currents in order to create a large surface of wind to slam into your opponent. Think of it as a gust of wind or tornado; those wind will tend to want to knock you over or throw you around.

After channelling your wind chakra to your mouth, you'll perform some shape manipulation to create Blunt force wind that you then expel from your mouth in the form of a sudden blast or stream of wind. Not that you can channel and release wind chakra in the form of a sudden blast, from your hand or other limbs as well. This jutsu is the most basic form of wind jutsu but has a lot of uses.
How do you think you could use this in battle, include things such as combinations etc.

I would use it against water style jutsu. Also I would use the combo of fire+wind you know powers up fire and use it to blow sand in the eyes of d enemy? . it also can prevent Taijutsu?

Yep, you can blow dust and light debris up into your opponents vision or to blow away smoke screens and the like. It is also a very good jutsu to use in close range to add extra punch to your taijutsu, or to through your opponent off balance thus leaving them open to a follow up attack.
This jutsu's main use is to create a small dust screen over your position, layering sand over the nearby area. Keep in mind this is only a short range jutsu.
You perform this jutsu by releasing your wind chakra into the air around you, creating a swirling current of wind that picks up the light sand/dust/dirt off the ground and lifts them up into the air. This creates the dust screen and can also get into your opponents eyes if they are unshielded.
As well as performing this jutsu and giving your opinion of it/how you'd use it in battle, describe to me how the terrain might effect the use of this jutsu?

Konohamaru gathers chakra into the center of his body then he uses Nature Transformation to change his raw chakra into wind chakra , once he completely transformed it into chakra.
Then he raises his hands like this

Opinion: Ok so my opinion is that this jutsu can help in battles alot, any rank of water jutsu will be able to stop it, and a wind release too. But if we use it with a combo shadow clone jutsu it will be very effective (explained below
)
How would I use it in battle: Ok so I can use it like creating a smoke screen and then start digging the ground underneath me , and hide ir just hit a the opponent like Naruto did in the chunnin exam while fighting with Neji.
Or
When I create a smoke screen and then use shadow clone jutsu then use magic cloak of invisibility and sneak behind my enemy and finish him off.
Terrain: Everything depends upon it , coz if there is no dust particles and sand on it , the jutsu wont work.

Explain to me why you mentioned specifically water and wind as a counter. Why did you not chose say, lighting release?

Well, I thought it would be more convenient using mid to long jutsu, if I use any raiton jutsu , I would get into the trap. So this is why I said Water and Wind.
Opinion is that it is a low ranked effective jutsu but it can be countered easily so it is both Effective and Not Effective

Now you're mentioning things like mid-long range? I wanted you to run through your elemental interactions to answer why lightning wouldn't be a decent counter. I was also hoping you'd mention some properties of water and wind that would make those two elements sufficient to counter this jutsu.

well, Water is heavier than Wind and Water can be sprayed or just drop from above that would make the particles heavy and make them fall.
Lightening can pierce through it but can make it disappear thats what I think

iight iight. Nicely done!. We don't have to do templates. I will just ask you to perform the technique and might ask some questions in between. I will do similar jutsus in the same post and for other jutsus I will do two per post. We shall continue once you are ready for this! ^^
