Crystal is a solid that has an organized molecular structure called a crystalline lattice. As a result of this organized structure, crystals can exhibit extreme hardness - perhaps the best example of this is Diamond which ranks the highest on the mohs scale. As a crystal is defined as that which has a paticular molecular structure, virtually any organic material can be crystallized. Whether it be carbon, water or silicone. Because of the arranged molecular structure crystals typically take the form of geometric shapes.

In the Naruto world, Crystal was first demonstrated as an ability by Guren - who could produce crystals, and crystalline any physical substance - even down to a cellular level in the case of living tissue. The Release on this site is made of Earth and Wind, Earth evidently because Crystal is a common product of the earths crust. I'm honestly not sure why Wind is a component.

Yeah, its a bit odd. Anyway, I'll just need you to explain the techniques for me in more depth. I'll give some surface level description to it.

(Kessho: Rokkaku Shuriken) - Crystal: Hexagonal Shuriken

A technique where you will create up to eight crystal based snowflakes, which can launched towards the opponent.

(Kessho: Kouseki Senbon) - Crystal: Crystal Needles

Description: Guren creates a number of small, thin, sharp crystal needles resembling senbon, that she fires at the opponent. The needles cannot penetrate harder substances like dense earth or metal.

A technique where you will create thin needle like senbon, which can be launched towards the opponent. This can be used to shoot the opponent, if in close range.

Description: Guren creates a crystal ball, which provides her an aerial view of the battlefield, letting her see the opponent's moves. However, if the opponent is completely enshrouded in something, like Mist or Smoke, the ball will not work. It is extremely fragile and has to be continually held in her hand to use its effects.

A technique where you will use a crystal ball to see an aerial view of the field. Fairly useful, but eh, can be more useful.

The first technique essentially allows you to create Shuriken, expect instead of being metallic they're made of Crystal - produced, shaped and moulded by your AE to look like oversized snowflakes that are still capable of piercing and slicing damage. Likely involves projecting Crystal directly from your body, or crystallising the air.

Much like the previous technique, this is another ninja weapon mimicry. Instead of Shurikens the user instead mimics the creation of senbon, utising their AE to materliase needle shaped crystals. These crystals can be shot at the opponent (likely chakra propelled), and can pierce through a range of substances. However, on account of their minature size, they falter when faced with thicker dense substances such as blocks of earth and steel.

Weird technique, essentially allows for the creation of a crystal ball and, following the lore inspired divination abilities that are typically associated with crystal balls, allows the user to monitor the battlefield by staring at the crystal ball in their hands. Strange, but somehow works because chakra? Huh.
